Keys to the Cosmos: Fractal Math, Frequencies and Wave Patterns

Part 2: Keys to the Cosmos: Fractal Math, Frequencies and Wave Patterns
© 2017 by Linda Moulton Howe

“Space-time — it's the Planck constant times frequency equals mass times the
speed of light squared. Think about how the universe is Planck pixels, the frequency
of which things are vibrating on those pixels, and at the very quantum, fundamental
level, all of that would describe what people consider their souls.”
- Jason Padgett, co-author Struck by Genius

Return to Part 1.

February 24, 2017 Federal Way, Washington - There was a best-selling book entitled “The Holographic Universe” that was first released in hard cover by HarperCollins in 1991.

The Holographic Universe © 1991 by Michael Talbot.
Around the same time, I spoke at a Mid-West conference, along with human abduction researcher Budd Hopkins. The new book by a young man only 38 years old and its mind-blowing hypothesis that our universe was being projected by Something Else — maybe from another dimension — was the topic of many discussions at the conference.  A holographic universe is one where all the information that makes up our 3-dimensional “reality” plus time is actually contained in a 2-dimensional surface that is projecting what we conscious creatures see and move through as 3-dimensional space/time.
After the conference, Budd and I had the same airline flight back East to New York and Philadelphia, where I lived at the time. Budd and I sat next to each other to talk about some new abduction cases and he surprised me when said:
“I’ll tell you something confidentially. Michael Talbot has been one of my UFO abduction cases. But he doesn’t want anyone to know that because he’s afraid if people knew the truth, they might not read his book.  And Michael told me the truth is that the entire holographic universe concept that he has written about was given to him in a telepathic download by the  extraterrestrials who have been abducting him.”
Sadly, Michael Talbot died a year later at age 39 from lymphocytic leukemia. Then Budd Hopkins died in 2011. Now in 2017, Michael Talbot would find reinforcement in the recent comments by Prof. Kostas Skenderis of Mathematical Sciences at the University of Southampton, England, who says:
“Holography is a huge leap forward in the way we think about the structure and creation of the universe. Einstein’s theory of general relativity explains almost everything large scale in the universe very well, but starts to unravel when examining its origins and mechanisms at quantum levels. Scientists have been working for decades to combine Einstein’s theory of gravity and quantum theory. Some believe the concept of a holographic universe has the potential to reconcile the two. Imagine that everything you see, feel and hear in three dimensions — plus your perception of time — in fact emanates from a flat 2-dimensional field. The idea is similar to that of ordinary  holograms where a 3-dimensional image is encoded in a 2-dimensional surface, such as in the hologram on a credit card. However, this time, it’s the entire universe that is encoded!”
Jason Padgett also thinks we're in a 3-D holographic universe where the key to everything is frequency — from the vibrating vacuum to fractal geometries. Many universes and dimensions could exist simultaneously like notes in a chord of music where each note is a specific, separate frequency, but the chord is a combination of all the frequencies. Each frequency could be other dimensions and could even relate to what has been described by some people in the human abduction syndrome as “the machinery of the universe” — the recycling of souls in and out of various dimensions — where each dimension is a different frequency.

John 1:1
WE CAN GO BACK TO THE BEGINNING OF BIBLICAL LITERATURE AND THAT SENTENCE, 'In the beginning was the Word,' WITH A CAPITAL W, WHICH MEANS FREQUENCY.
Yeah. Space-time. It's the Planck constant times frequency equals mass times the speed of light squared. Think about how the universe is Planck pixels, the frequency of which things are vibrating on those pixels, and at the very quantum, fundamental level, all of that would describe what people consider their souls. How do you vibrate on these pixels of space-time? And the information encoded on you from the experiences that you have?
WHAT IS YOUR OWN PERSONAL PERSPECTIVE ON OTHER INTELLIGENCES, LIFEFORMS, EXISTING IN THIS 13.8 BILLION LIGHT YEAR UNIVERSE?
Twenty years ago if people said, 'Oh, life is in outer space,' they were considered fringe. Now I've noticed that almost all physicists and scientists I talk to say yeah, they believe there's life all throughout the universe.

Drake Equation
And there's this thing called the Drake equation, which is a very well thought out equation where it's how many planets are there?
Editor's Note: The 1961 equation written by Cornell Prof. of Astronomy Frank Drake, Ph.D., was assumed the number of extraterrestrial civilization sin the Milky Way galaxy was equal to the mathematical product of:

You know, now we're finding that stars have planets around them all over the place. And now we're finding stars that have planets in the habitable zone. But now we're also finding life that can live in lava, in the void of space, places that we didn't think life could live. And so if you take this Drake equation—how many planets there are, what you need for life, what planets are close enough to their star to be just like Earth—and if we put it in the most pessimistic numbers into the Drake equation, it shows that there should be 10-20 galactic civilizations per galaxy. And we've discovered between 200 billion and 500 billion galaxies. We're talking about a couple trillion galactic civilizations in our universe.
JASON, MANY PEOPLE THAT I HAVE INTERVIEWED IN THE HUMAN ABDUCTION SYNDROME, WHICH IS A TRUE PHENOMENA, THEY DESCRIBE BEING INTRODUCED, AT LEAST TELEPATHICALLY, TO SOME SORT OF BEINGS OR ENTITIES THAT TRY TO COMMUNICATE THAT THE WAY THEY TRAVEL IS BY BENDING SPACE AND TIME POINT TO POINT.
Right. We know that space—like we know that nothing can move faster than the speed of light, but we do know that there are galaxies moving away from us faster than the speed of light because the empty space between the galaxies is expanding faster than the speed of light.
So if we could compress space to where something that's 100 light years, we compressed the empty space between us so that it's only a foot away, and then we step across that and then let space re-expand, then we could circumvent the speed of light.
So in other words, when I walk across that foot, I'm still moving very slowly, but because space is compressed and then uncompressed, nothing with mass is moving faster than the speed of light. Only empty space is expanding. So if there's going to be a way to circumvent the speed of light, it is going to be with warping space, compressing space and expanding space.
WHICH WOULD COMPRESS AND EXPAND TIME SIMULTANEOUSLY.
Exactly. You would have time dilation, and that's what happens in a black hole. As you get close there, time changes dramatically as you enter that event horizon because of the distortions of space-time.

Time Manipulation By Advanced Intelligences?
THAT COULD EXPLAIN THE CONCEPT THAT AROSE IN THE HUMAN ABDUCTION SYNDROME CALLED “MISSING TIME” WHERE SOMEBODY IS REMEMBERING THAT THEY WERE IN A CAR AND THAT THEY LOOKED AT THEIR CLOCK OR THEIR SPEEDOMETER AND THEN THERE WAS A BLUR, AND OUT OF THAT BLUR, UNDER HYPNOSIS, THEY DISCOVER THEY WERE GONE FOR THREE OR FOUR HOURS. THAT'S THE MISSING TIME. AND THEN THEY WERE REINSERTED BACK INTO THE TIMELINE HERE WHILE BEINGS HAD THEM FOR HOURS OR DAYS, AND YET THEY WERE ABLE TO BE REINSERTED BACK INTO LIFE HERE ON EARTH.
I think there's life everywhere. I think there's a decent chance that we're going to find microbes on Europa or perhaps Titan. Somewhere on a moon in our solar system, I think there's going to be at least microbes.
IF WE ARE LIVING IN SOME OTHER ADVANCED INTELLIGENCE'S SIMULATED UNIVERSE BECAUSE THEY WANTED TO STUDY THE EVOLUTION OF UNIVERSES AND THE APPEARANCE OF LIFE, IS THERE SOME WAY FOR US IN THIS UNIVERSE AND THIS TIME, SPACE, MATTER COMPLEX TO TRY TO MEET THAT WHICH IS CREATING IN A LAB, PERHAPS, THIS UNIVERSE?
Yeah. I would think that if I was in a lab and I was creating the universe, I would like to see that universe get smarter and the beings within it get more intelligent. And I would like to think there would be a way that they would have programmed or that they know could come about that it could communicate with you and finally tell you. Like if we're trying to create an artificially intelligent computer, that computer could say, 'Hey. I am self-aware.'
So I could imagine that if that is the case, if we are in a simulation, would there be the ability at some point for us somehow to communicate (to the Simulators)? But I don't know how or when. Things are changing so rapidly, especially when it comes to computers and artificial intelligence. The singularity is only a few years away when computers are as smart as people. And then things are going to start evolving exponentially. Computers are going to evolve in a decade as we did in a hundred million years.

Do Androids and Cyborgs Dominate
Space Travel in This Universe?
IN FACT, THERE HAVE BEEN SOME SCIENTISTS WHO HAVE SAID WHEN AND IF WE ARE CONSCIOUSLY INTERACTING WITH AND MEETING OTHER INTELLIGENT LIFE IN THE UNIVERSE, THERE IS A STRONG LIKELIHOOD THAT THAT WHICH WE MEET FIRST WOULD BE ANDROID OR COMPUTER AND NOT THE PRIME INTELLIGENCE THAT MADE THE ROBOTS AND ANDROIDS THAT WOULD BE MOVING THROUGH THIS UNIVERSE.
They would be the easiest things to move throughout the universe. They wouldn't be constrained as much by time as we are, so—and I've often wondered, is biological life, intelligent, biological life, the natural evolution for computer life. In other words, biology starts because of the natural processes of the Earth, eventually we make computers that are artificially intelligent, but they advance so much faster than us that we quickly become out of date.
BECAUSE THE ROBOTIC, INORGANIC LIFE IS WHAT COULD EXPLORE THE UNIVERSE WITHOUT NEEDING ALL OF THE FOOD AND THE WATER AND CERTAIN TEMPERATURES.
Right. Yeah. Maybe it's a blend of both that becomes the norm. I have a feeling right now we're heading towards the blend. I'm already a blend. I've got an artificial disk. My head rotates on a titanium, artificial joint. So, you know, technically I'm part mechanical now. They're developing implants for the brain, just amazing things that are coming in the near future that will be cyborgs. People will be able to download stuff into a memory chip that is in your brain.
AND THAT THE PRINTER TECHNOLOGY THAT IS MAKING ORGANS, ELON MUSK WANTS TO HAVE ONE OF THESE PRINTERS GO WITH HIM TO MARS BY 2025 OR 2026 SO THAT THEY WOULD HAVE SOMETHING THAT WAS COMPAC, BUT WOULD BE ABLE TO REPLENISH ORGANS AND HELP THEM MEDICALLY.
Yes. They just put a biological printer on the International Space Station. SpaceX flew up July 18th of last year, and they control it from their iPhone here on Earth so they can print these samples in space to see how it varies trying to print these things near zero gravity.

Making Holograms, Fractals
and Math Exciting to Students
AS WE SPEAK IN JANUARY OF 2017, WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO FROM HERE GOING FORWARD IN TERMS OF THE FOCUS OF YOUR GENIUS ON PROJECTS THAT YOU ARE MOST INTERESTED IN TRYING TO SOLVE OR SHARE WITH THE HUMAN FAMILY?

Before 2002, I knew nothing except for like adding, subtracting, multiplying, or that type of thing. And that's where the majority of the world is. I hated math and thought it was boring and it didn't apply to anything.
But because of what happened to me (beat up), I am now infatuated with it. And I've been on both sides now. I've seen the traditional math side, which is amazing, and I've seen the other side where it seems like it's impossible to learn. The way that I learned it, like I figured integrals out myself and derivatives and fractals before I took the classes.
When I figured out Pi, I was in my house just dancing and fist pumping in the air because it has such incredibly far-reaching implications when you understand it.
Editor's Note: Pi is the ratio of a circle's circumference (distance around circle) to its diameter and is an irrational number of 3.14 on to infinity, never ending. The New Yorker on March 13, 2015, further described the importance of Pi:
“Pi is inescapable because cycles are the temporal cousins of circles; they are to time as circles are to space. Pi is at the heart of both.
For this reason, Pi is intimately associated with waves, from the ebb and flow of the ocean’s tides to the electromagnetic waves that let us communicate wirelessly. At a deeper level, Pi appears in both the statement of Heisenberg’s uncertainty principle and the Schrödinger wave equation, which capture the fundamental behavior of atoms and subatomic particles. In short, Pi is woven into our descriptions of the innermost workings of the universe.”]
And so that excitement kind of spreads when I talk to people. Because if you can take somebody like me and make me excited about math, then I want to spread that to that 95 percent of the people who think that math is useless. If I can get just one percent or two percent of those people that would not normally go into math to go into math, I know we're missing Einsteins every year. We're missing Stephen Hawkings. Kids that could be brilliant at this, but they don't go into it.
I found a lot of times when I meet a good mathematician or physicist, a lot of times they're good at crunching the numbers, and they're good at equations. And a lot of times when I meet the most imaginative people, the people who think outside the box, it's artists and people who do sculptures, you know, that type of personality. And a lot of times those people are turned off by math just because of the way it's taught.
But if they look at it like I look at it where it's math, but it's also got this beautiful artistic quality to it, then they'll see how what they're doing really is math and how it can be exciting. And so I want to get more people to go into math and science and to get interested in it because that'll make real changes in the planet. Breakthroughs they will make that will impact the world.
AND THAT FRACTALS ARE THE BUILDING BLOCK OF THIS UNIVERSE.
Absolutely. (I think) the universe, space-time itself, is a fractal.”

Part 1: A Physicist Thinks Our Universe Is Simulated
© 2017 by Linda Moulton Howe

“You look into reality close enough and what you find is that it’s not material. It’s information based. Information based means it’s computed. Computed means there is computer code and if there’s computer code, you’re going to find error correction!”
- Thomas Campbell, author and applied physicist

February 24, 2017 Huntsville, Alabama Last month in my January 2017 COAST broadcast, I interviewed Phoenix resident Jerry Wills about his 1966 face-to-face contact with a male, blond extraterrestrial humanoid called “Zo.”  Zo's home base, he said, was a planet orbiting Tau Ceti about 12 light-years from Earth.
Then in  November 1998, Jerry was at Lake Titicaca, Peru, and his wife saw him disappear into a rock doorway known as Aramu Muru. Jerry reappeared in a flash of light after  being  in what he thought was another universe where an Intelligent Voice showed him a laboratory experiment to create and study a universe. The Voice told Jerry that our cosmos was the result of the Other Dimension’s experiment to simulate a universe.
Is our universe a computer simulation? That question keeps coming up in media, science journals and public conferences.  A few months ago at the Recode Code computer conference in Los Angeles, Elon Musk — Owner and CEO of SpaceX and Tesla — was asked about the simulated universe hypothesis. He answered, “The odds we are in base reality is one in billions!” — meaning he thinks the odds are high that we are in a simulated universe.

The 23-foot-high carved Aramu Muru wall at Lake Titicaca, Peru, contains the solid rock “door”
where a man is standing. Jerry Wills kneeled there in November 1998 and his wife saw him
disappear and a few minutes later reappear in a flash of light. Jerry thought he had been gone
perhaps for hours or days after a discussion in an all-white laboratory with an Intelligent Voice
that said our cosmos was the result of that Other Dimension's experiment to simulate a universe.

“Is the Universe A Simulation?”

April 5, 2016, Isaac Asimov Memorial Debate, American Museum of Natural History, NYC.
On April 5, 2016, at the American Museum of Natural History in New York City, the sold out 17th Annual Isaac Asimov Memorial Debate took place before a packed audience moderated by astrophysicist Neil deGrasse Tyson. The question before the audience: “Is the universe a simulation?” — meaning computer simulation.

James Gates, Jr., Ph.D., Prof. of Theoretical Physics, who focuses
on supersymmetry and superstring theory at the University of Maryland, College Park.
One of the theoretical physicists in the debate was James Gates, Ph.D., Professor of Theoretical Physics, who researches supersymmetry and superstring theory at the University of Maryland, College Park.
Prof. Gates asked:  “How could we discover whether we live inside a Matrix?” He suggests: “Try to detect the presence of codes in the laws that describe physics.” When he looked, Dr. Gates was surprised to find in supersymmetry equations what are called “doubly-even self-dual linear binary error-correcting block codes.”
More simply, those are codes commonly used to remove errors in computer transmissions to make computer browsers work.

Earth physicists can now computer simulate entire galaxy clusters.

Prof. Gates asked, “Why were those codes in the equations that I was studying about quarks and leptons and supersymmetry? They could even be embedded in the essence of our reality. If this is the case, we might have something in common with The Matrix science-fiction films, which depict a world where everything human beings experience is the product of a virtual-reality-generating computer network.”

Physical Review Letters:
Is This A Holographic Universe?
Then only three weeks ago at the beginning of February 2017, theoretical physicists published in Physical Review Letters “substantial evidence” that we are living in a holographic universe. Studying our universe’s cosmic microwave background left over from the singularity moment when the universe erupted in the Big Bang — the scientists can detect large amounts of what they call “imprints of information” embedded in the white noise or microwaves left over from the moment the universe exploded into this dimension and kept growing.

the oldest light in the universe — taken by the European Space Agency's Planck spacecraft.

They compare that to the encoding of information in a 2-dimensional surface that projects to a 3-dimensional image, such as the hologram on credit cards. But in the simulation hypothesis, it’s our entire universe that is encoded and projected into the 3-dimensional reality that we humans experience with our minds, bodies and souls.
Recently I interviewed one physicist who enthusiastically says, “Yes, we’re in a computer simulated universe!” He is Tom Campbell, M. S., now 72 years old, who had a 30-year-career working for U. S. Army Intelligence in Charlottesville, Virginia, beginning in the early 1970s. There at the University of Virginia, he also started a Ph.D. in Experimental Nuclear Physics, but left for the Army intel work before he had completed his Ph.D. Now he calls himself an applied physicist.
Tom also worked for the Strategic Defense Initiative, SDI, during the Reagan Administration in a group called Space and Missile Defense Agency (SMDA) from 1983 to the mid-1990s. Then he did risk analysis for the Aries rocket tests at NASA’s Marshall Space Flight Center in Huntsville, Alabama, where he lives today.
After Tom Campbell retired from government assignments, he never stopped working on his conviction that this IS a simulated universe by Something Projecting Information from Another Dimension that caused the original “digital Big Bang.”
Tom is a co-author on a new paper to be published in 2017 entitled, “On Testing the Simulation Hypothesis.” Tom told me he envisions that our entire universe is simulated by Another Intelligence to be an “Entropy Reduction Trainer for Souls” in which encoded information participates with consciousness.  His ideas began in 1972 when he worked with Robert Monroe on training people to go out of body.

00:00 Howe 022317 - Part 1: A Physicist Thinks Our Universe Is Simulated
Thomas Campbell, M. S., 73, Applied Physicist and Author of  My Big T.O.E. — Theory of Everything © 2003, Huntsville, Alabama: “In  about 1972, I met up with Bob Monroe. And Bob Monroe is the fellow who wrote Journeys Out of the Body and Ultimate Journey.
He had a farm called Whistlefield Farm and on that farm he built a laboratory for the study of consciousness that was like, ‘Build it and they will come!’ He built it and myself and another friend of mine, who was an electrical engineer —  we ran into Bob and Bob was looking for some scientists to study consciousness and we volunteered with the idea that he would teach us what he knew about out of body and that sort of thing and we would be his free scientists, who would make sure we had good protocols and did research.
So my interaction with Bob from that time on, which was around 1972 for the next six years, was about 20 hours a week. We’d go out every evening after work from 6:30  to 7 PM in the evening all the way to 2 o’clock in the morning, we would stay with Bob in the lab and then we’d come out on weekends. A lot of time with Bob and he did teach  myself and Dennis Mennerick was the E.E. (electrical engineer) who went with me. He (Bob) taught us about out of body and how to go and  how to get there whenever we wanted to and get there easily. So, we started doing research about how does it work?
Now, I’m a physicist, so what I do is model reality. That’s what physics is all about. So my mission was to find out: what is it? What are the limitations?
And we did mostly evidential things at first because both Dennis and I were like: ‘Convince us!’  (laughs)  We’re not going to believe it until it’s our own experience.  So he (Bob) had to have us do a lot of evidential things — remote viewing, healing, going places — what’s the number I  just wrote on the blackboard while we’re in another room in a booth. Dennis and I went on a couple of out of body adventures together where he (Bob) had us where we couldn’t hear each other — we were in an electromagnetically and acoustically isolated booth. He (Bob) was talking to both of us independently and there we were having conversations with each other, answering each other’s questions on the tapes. So, we just did a lot of stuff so that’s where my background on consciousness studies comes from.

Error-Correcting Codes in Supersymmetry Equations
It’s really mathematics!  It’s computer code that’s computing our reality. So, we’ve got all kinds of experiments that show the same thing as Prof. Gates did. You look into reality close enough and what you find is that it’s not material. It’s information based. Information based means it’s computed. Computed means there is computer code and if there’s computer code, you’re going to find error correction!
HOW DOES JIM GATES’S ERROR-CORRECTING CODES EMBEDDED WITHIN THE EQUATIONS OF SUPERSYMMETRY THAT DESCRIBE FUNDAMENTAL PARTICLES. FROM A PHYSICIST’S POINT OF VIEW,  HOW UNUSUAL IS IT TO FIND THESE ERROR-CORRECTING CODES IN THE EQUATIONS OF SUPERSTRING SYMMETRY AND WHAT DOES THAT MEAN TO YOU?
Yeah, well what he has done is that he has taken string theory and in order to model our reality, they have to use equations to do that. And then in those equations, lo and behold, there looks like computer code!
The information system wants to evolve by lowering its entropy. And it does that by organization.
THE KEY  TO THIS IS THAT THE PROJECTOR OF THE VIRTUAL REALITY HAS TO BE IN ANOTHER DIMENSION. PROF. GUTH AT HARVARD IS TALKING ABOUT THEIR BEING AN INFINITE NUMBER OF UNIVERSES. OTHERS THINK THAT UNIVERSES MIGHT EVEN BE SOMEHOW EMBEDDED WITHIN EACH OTHER IN SOME WAY.
IF THE PROJECTOR OF THE VIRTUAL REALITY IS IN ANOTHER DIMENSION AND THE PROJECTION THEN INVOLVES HOLOGRAPHIC PROJECTION, THAT WOULD EXPLAIN WHY THERE  IS A MERGER OF TWO CONCEPTS:  THE  HOLOGRAPHIC UNIVERSE AND THE SIMULATED COMPUTER UNIVERSE BECAUSE WHAT IS BEING PROJECTED IS HOLOGRAPHIC FROM THE MACRO DOWN TO THE MICRO?
The holographic universe is a nice metaphor, but there's no need for holography to get involved in it at all. The simulated universe doesn't need holography to make any connections. It simply computes a data stream. The data stream is sent to a player. The player interprets that data stream as the virtual reality. Everything takes place in consciousness. Consciousness is the computer. Consciousness is the player. That's what's going on. The whole game is played consciousness.

The Matrix

Hollywood actor Keanu Reeves in the original 1999 movie, The Matrix, that depicts an Earth future dominated by robots and androids created in the 21st century that rebelled against humanity.
The rebelling robot forces placed human minds under control by cybernetic implants that connect
to a simulated virtual reality called The Matrix, nearly indistinguishable from actual Earth reality.
The Matrix movie didn't need any holography either. That's just an additional complication that's unnecessary to get to the answer. Although it is a popular metaphor partly because in a hologram every piece of it has the information of the whole. But that's also true in fractals.

Holographic v. Fractal Simulations

Left: Illustration of our 3-D universe projected from a 2-D Other Dimension.
Right: Mathematician Benoit Mandelbrot's classic 1982 book, The Fractal Geometry
of Nature
, in which he showed how visual complexity can be created from simple rules,
including his first computer generation of the Mandelbrot set in 1979. The Mandelbrot set
below shows the black Mandelbrot outlined by a myriad of Julia sets that resemble
the spiral patterns so frequently found in Nature from sea shells to ferns further below.

Fractal Mandelbrot set outlined by a myriad of Julia set fractals.

Fractal Julia sets surrounding central Mandelbrot set fractal.
Created by Wolfgang Beyer with the program Ultra Fractal 3.
Every piece of fractals has all the information of the whole. In this system of information, a fractal pattern is a pattern of information. That's why a computer can compute fractals. Because it's just information. And the fractal has that same attribute of all the information, part of the whole, so you end up with a process fractal that creates everything.

Bodies and Souls in Virtual Realities
Recycle in Reincarnation
And there are also places like the places you get to in out of body that have very loose rule sets as opposed to physical universes which tend to have more complicated rule sets, more detailed, tighter rule sets. So it's all just virtual realities. When your avatar dies, the consciousness doesn't die. You know, just like when your elf dies, the player doesn't die. So the consciousness doesn't die. The consciousness goes on and gets back in the game again.
When it does that, that consciousness ends up in a different virtual reality than this virtual reality. That's a transition virtual reality. Dreaming is another virtual reality that we experience. The dream reality isn't any less real than this physical reality. It's just different. It's a different virtual reality, different rule set, different data stream.
And one of the neat things about it is that once you understand how consciousness works, then you can turn around and derive quantum mechanics and relativity from the ground up. And the amazing thing is that when you do that, quantum mechanics and relativity now get along with each other rather than being opposed to each other, and quantum mechanics is no longer a weird science. It's just a logical science. You can look at a quantum mechanical problem and just look at the logic of it and say what the answer is. You don't need to do a lot of math. It's a perfectly understandable thing.

Who? What? Is the Programmer
If Our Universe Is Simulated?
I do lectures, and I talk about the science, I talk about the physics, but then I usually spend as much time talking about what does it matter the individual, you know? Why should you care? People sitting in the audience, why is this important to you? And it's very important to everything about their life. Their choices, their relationships. It matters to all of that. So it's not just physics. It's much bigger than that.
And the neat thing I've found is that once you understand consciousness, you can derive physics. You see, the causality runs the other way. It doesn't run from the physical world to the brain and then the brain somehow creates consciousness. That's wrong. It doesn't run that way. Causality runs from consciousness to the virtual reality, to the rule set, which orders this virtual reality. So once you understand consciousness, you can take that same understanding and come up with a logical quantum mechanics that isn't weird science.
WHAT WILL THE CONSEQUENCES BE IF YOU WITH YOUR COLLEAGUES IN THIS NEW PAPER ON TESTING THE SIMULATION HYPOTHESIS END UP WITH A CONFIRMATION THAT WE ARE IN A COMPUTER SIMULATED UNIVERSE? WHAT ARE THE CONSEQUENCES FOR PHYSICS, SPACE TRAVEL, US, ANY PRACTICAL CONSEQUENCES?
Yes. There's some huge consequences. I mean, there's always consequences to science, but that's not the major consequence. Science will change from the ground up. It will have to get rid of its beliefs in a material reality and will have to see this in terms of information. And that will make a huge difference. But that step brings into question, well, if this is a simulation, who's in charge?
RIGHT.
Who's the programmer? Where's it simulated from? So suddenly questions about this being not the reality, but a subset of something bigger, and what is this bigger thing? You see, it brings up all of those metaphysical questions.
Suddenly the questions have scientific rigor because scientific rigor says if this is a virtual reality then it cannot be computed from inside this virtual reality.
It has to be computed from other elsewhere, from another reality frame. And so consciousness must be in another reality frame. The second step is that they realize that consciousness is the computer.
If you take those two steps, once you realize that consciousness is the computer, it's just a logical inference to come out with love is the answer.

Is Our Universe An
“Entropy Reduction Trainer for Souls?”
That's why we're here. This is a virtual reality. OK? It's a trainer just like a flight trainer. This is an entropy reduction trainer (for souls). And suddenly, if love is the answer, cooperation, caring about others, is the way you evolve.
And the self-centered fear thing — fear is the way you devolve — that will make a huge difference not just for the scientists, but for everybody walking around on the planet. And then you realize that because this is a trainer — you know how trainers are?
If you get it right and you do the right thing in a trainer, you get rewards. You know, if you don't crash your airplane in a flight trainer, you get to continue to fly it. So people will realize that as they work in the direction that they're meant to work in, what our goal is, what our challenge is and our mission is, everything starts to work out. Instead of a constant struggle, you find that life is good. You find happiness. You find satisfaction. All of the good stuff starts to fall at your feet once you start collaborating with the system and growing up and getting rid of the fear and becoming love. So it has the potential to change everything at a very fundamental level.”

Is Our Universe Also A 3-D Hologram?

Part 1: Is Our Universe Also A 3-D Hologram?

“It doesn't seem like the universe cares so much about fairness
as it does care that all things that can happen — do.”
- Jason Padgett, co-author Struck by Genius

February 24, 2017 Federal Way, Washington - Even though Thomas Campbell seems convinced that our universe, if simulated, is not holographic but purely information based, perhaps built from 3-dimensional fractal geometries, there are increasingly credible science papers and books about the simulation of our universe as a 3-dimensional hologram.
Only a month ago on January 30th, 2017, theoretical physicists and astrophysicists from the University of Southampton in the U. K. — the University of Waterloo in Canada — and the University of Salento in Italy — published in the Physical Review Letters  “substantial evidence” that we’re living in a holographic universe.

Physical Review Letters, January 30, 2017, General Physics.

A sketch of the timeline of the holographic Universe. Time runs from left to right.
The far left denotes the holographic phase and the image is blurry because space and time
are not yet well defined. At the end of this phase (denoted by the black fluctuating ellipse)
the Universe enters a geometric phase, which can now be described by Einstein's equations.
The cosmic microwave background was emitted about 375,000 years later. Patterns
imprinted in it carry information about the very early Universe and seed the development
of structures of stars and galaxies in the late time Universe (far right). Credit: Paul McFadden.
Studying our universe’s cosmic microwave background left over from the singularity moment when the universe erupted in the Big Bang — the scientists can detect large amounts of data embedded in the white noise or microwaves left over from the moment the universe exploded into this dimension and kept growing. They found that some of the simplest quantum field theories can explain nearly all cosmological observations of our early universe.
So in their new paper, they conclude that about 375,000 years after the universe’s geometric phase in the third oval of this illustration, they begin to see what they call “imprints of information” about the very early universe. The scientists hypothesize that’s when the development of star and galaxy structure began to evolve up to what we call the Current Time on the far right of their illustration.

Struck By Genius
One young man born in 1970 became convinced our universe is a 3-D holographic simulation after he was viciously attacked and beaten up on December 13, 2002, in the parking lot of a karaoke club in the Tacoma, Washington, region. At the time, 32-years-old Jason Dwain Padgett had no interest in math, had never heard of fractals or simulated 3-D universes or Planck's constants. He simply worked helping his dad run a futon mattress and sofa store.
But in the hospital after the attack with his skull and brain damaged, Jason Padgett began to see the world as he had never seen it before. Everything moving around him looked like moving film strips of images inside frames. Then he began to see shapes in his mind that were so beautiful he had to try to draw them. Using only a sharp pencil, ruler and compass, Jason hand drew perfect fractal patterns depicting photon interference, wave particle duality and the shape of Pi as light. Each fractal pattern comes into his mind in a different color, a rare neurological phenomenon known as grapheme-color synesthesia. Jason hand draws the grids and fractals he constantly sees synesthetically in his mind.
He went from a normal guy to the very rare condition of “acquired savant syndrome” defined as a person who acquires remarkable musical or artistic abilities after a severe injury or disease. But only a handful of people have acquired the extraordinary mathematical abilities that Jason Padgett has since he was beaten up. He wrote about the dramatic change in his life in the 2014 book Struck By GeniusHow A Brain Injury Made Me A Mathematical Marvel co-authored with another synesthesia experiencer, Maureen Seaberg, a writer for Psychology Today and Oprah Magazine. Maureen got Jason the medical testing that confirmed his new genius abilities. Fractals
What are fractals?
IBM mathematician Benoit Mandelbrot put a small equation in a big computer and had it run for hours to see what would happen in 1975. He ended up with a Mandelbrot set that is outlined by other fractals known as Julia sets.

Fractal Mandelbrot set outlined by a myriad of Julia set fractals.

Created by Wolfgang Beyer with the program Ultra Fractal 3.
Mandelbrot was the first to use the word “fractal” to describe the patterns. Mandelbrot based it on the Latin fractus meaning “broken” or “fractured.” Fractals are also the geometric patterns in nature that keep repeating the same shapes from tiny to huge. That's why fractals are known as “self-similar,” exactly replicating the same patterns from the smallest to the largest scales. Think of tree branches and fern fronds and galaxies. See video of self-similarity Koch curve in Websites at the end of this report.
The more he worked with fractals, Mandelbrot said in 2006 in a 24/7 Lecture on fractals at a Nobel Awards ceremony: “Beautiful, damn hard, increasingly useful. That's fractals.” Jason Padgett went from never having seen a fractal to not being able to get fractal geometries and moving image frames out of his mind.

Jason Padgett, 46, co-author with Maureen Seaberg © 2014 Struck By GeniusHow A Brain Injury Made Me A Mathematical Marvel, Federal Way, Washington:   JASON, AFTER YOU WERE ATTACKED AT THAT KARAOKE BAR IN 2002, WHAT WAS THE FIRST DIFFERENCE YOU NOTICED IN WHAT YOU WERE SEEING?
The smoothness of how things looked when they moved was gone. Have you ever drawn a flip book on pages where you draw a cartoon character and you change it and you flip the pages and it looks the cartoon character's moving? It's like that, but real time. So when you flip the pages, you can tell that it's jumping from one spot to the next.
Editor's Note: Wikipedia - A flip book or flick book is a book with a series of pictures that vary gradually from one page to the next, so that when the pages are turned rapidly, the pictures appear to animate by simulating motion or some other change.

1886 illustration of a kineograph, also known as a flip book.
And our brains normally smooth out that jumpiness so it appears to be continuous, even though it's not continuous. It's discrete, individual frames, and that's the way the universe works, too. When you flip the pages of a flip book, it's like being aware of the picture frames that we're seeing. And our brains smooth them out for us so they don't look jittery.
SO IF YOU SEE SOMEONE RIDING A BICYCLE, YOU WOULD SEE RECTANGULAR FRAMES MOVING LIKE VIDEO OR FILM FRAMES?
Yes. My brain isn't smoothing them out. We are jumping through space-time, so there's like a million, million, billion picture frames per second in the real universe. That's like the maximum number of pictures that can be taken at Planck time. That's that quantum leap that you always hear people talk about.
Editor's Note: Wikipedia - Planck's Time: In physics, the Planck time (tP) is the unit of time in the system of natural units known as Planck units. It is the time required for light to travel, in a vacuum, a distance of 1 Planck length, approximately 5.39 × 10 −44 seconds. The unit is named after Max Planck, who was the first to propose it.

From Moving Frames to Fractals
WHEN THIS FIRST HAPPENED BACK IN 2002, AND YOU BEGAN TO SEE THIS WHOLE WORLD IN A NEW WAY, DID FRACTAL PATTERNS HOLD IN YOUR HEAD UNTIL YOU SAT DOWN AND STARTED TRYING TO DRAW THEM?
Yeah, I can't not see the frames and fractals. There's no way for it to ever go away. And sometimes it's almost a pain because when I just want to relax, I'm still constantly seeing that picture frame pulsing, even when I'm trying to go to sleep. Sometimes it can be tough to deal with.
WHICH LEADS TO YOUR EXTRAORDINARY ILLUSTRATION OF THE HAND. WHAT DOES IT MEAN TO YOU?

"Quantum Hand Through My Eyes" © June 7, 2006 by Jason Padgett, who has something called Synesthesia. It is a brain condition that makes one see numbers as shapes. Jason is currently being
studied along with several other savants to try to discover how this condition works.
This hand drawn image is how Jason saw his hand when asked to draw it.
It means everything comes in quanta. Everything comes in discrete little chunks. Nothing is perfectly smooth. And I know I go back to that a lot, but it's such a huge concept, and everything in the universe, everything in physics, everything in calculus is based on this concept of nothing is perfectly smooth. And you can't count infinity, but you can count like the velocity that you approach infinity. And so keeping this concept of slicing like pixels tinier and tinier and tinier, eventually it applies to everything.
WHEN YOU STARE AT YOUR ILLUSTRATION OF THE QUANTUM HAND, WHAT DO YOU FEEL?
That everything is just a wave and that your observation creates your reality.
DOESN'T THIS SUPPORT EVEN MORE THE IDEA THAT WE ARE IN SOME KIND OF VERY ADVANCED SIMULATED UNIVERSE?
It definitely seems to me that it works like a simulated universe, absolutely.
AND WHO WOULD PUT THIS KIND OF A LABORATORY EXPERIMENT INTO EXISTENCE, AND FROM WHICH DIMENSION?

Yeah. I want to know how it all got here, is there a purpose?
IF I'M UNDERSTANDING CORRECTLY, ALL MASS, AS PHYSICIST BOHM SAID, IS FROZEN LIGHT, AND THAT WOULD MEAN THAT NO MATTER WHAT WE ARE—HUMANS, DRAGONS, SPIDERS, ANYTHING—THAT WE ARE ALL ENTANGLE PHOTONS, MEANING WE ARE ALL ONE, EVEN IF WE KNOW VIOLENCE AND WAR AND YOU WERE BEAT UP IN THAT KARAOKE BAR.
Yes. Yes. We're all entangled, and we're all connected, and we're all light. We're all photonic beings. The universe is light.

If Simulated Universe,
Is It A 3D Projected Hologram?
LAST YEAR IN APRIL 2016, THERE WAS A SCIENTIFIC PANEL DISCUSSION IN NEW YORK CITY MODERATED BY ASTROPHYSICIST NEIL DEGRASSE TYSON ABOUT THE QUESTION IS THIS A COMPUTER SIMULATION UNIVERSE.
It definitely seems to operate like the holographic universe principle. The holographic universe, you can overlay a grid of Planck length pixels like in the room that you're in, and what is on each of those little pixels describes reality.
WELL, MATHEMATICIAN PROF. GUTH AT HARVARD HAS HAD THE HYPOTHESIS THAT THERE ARE AN INFINITE NUMBER OF UNIVERSES. WE ARE IN ONE. IS IT POSSIBLE THAT ALL THE OTHER UNIVERSES, IF THEY EXIST, HAVE DIFFERENT PHYSICS?
Yes. When I think about how the universe and the multiverse works, every time I come down to thinking and believing, even though I can't prove it, I am a firm believer in the multiverse theory because it always comes down to fractals.
DO YOU THINK IN YOUR MIND NOW AFTER BEING STRUCK BY GENIUS THAT THERE IS A FRACTAL STRUCTURE TO THE UNIVERSE? AND WHAT I'M THINKING OF IS MYSELF AND MANY OTHERS WERE INTRODUCED FOR THE FIRST TIME TO FRACTALS THROUGH THE CROP FORMATIONS GOING BACK TO THE 1980S AND THE EARLY 1990S. THERE WERE TWO FUNDAMENTAL FRACTALS THAT WERE PUT DOWN IN CEREAL CROPS THAT MADE EVERYBODY STAND BACK AND WONDER. ONE WAS THE MANDELBROT THAT IS DEFINED ON THE EDGES BY JULIUS SETS.
Right.
IS THERE SOMETHING FUNDAMENTAL ABOUT THE MANDELBROT AND THE JULIUS SETS AS A STRUCTURE THAT OUR UNIVERSE MAY MIMIC?
Absolutely. The definition of a fractal is it's a shape that when you decompose it into pieces, the pieces are the same as the whole. So the universe, by being this giant 3D grid structure, breaks down into tiny little smaller 3D grid structures, which breaks into smaller grids, which breaks into smaller grids. So the universe itself is a perfect fractal. You take it apart into pieces, the pieces are the same as the whole. And the Mandelbrot set is an equation that is being put onto a computer screen grid. The way I view everything is just basically as waves. The universe itself is like a wave that is rippling outwards like a fractal.
I'M LOOKING AT YOUR BEAUTIFUL SKETCH THAT YOU CALL THE “QUANTUM HAND.”
What that is, if you put a little circle in the center of that hand, and you divide that hand into segments.
IS THERE A RELATIONSHIP IN YOUR ILLUSTRATION TO WHAT APPEARS TO LOOK LIKE LIGHT COMING FROM THE CENTER OF THE HAND TO PHOTONS AND TO THE CONCEPT THAT ALL MATTER IS FROZEN LIGHT AND THAT WE ARE IN ESSENCE PHOTONS?
Yes. I believe everything is light. And everything is moving through space-time exactly at the speed of light. So light is absolutely paramount to everything.
IS THAT WHY SOME PEOPLE'S HANDS CAN HEAL?
The more I get into it, the more I have a hard time discounting anything because the universe is so much weirder than science fiction. I know that people who are positive heal faster. So our minds can do amazing things, and our bodies can do amazing things.
When you think about the quantum weirdness of the universe, that you can be in an infinite number of places at once, that there's a multiverse, that we can be inside of a large computer program, to think that somebody could somehow do something like that isn't so strange anymore.

Space Is Geometry and Numbers

The vacuum of space vibrates with quantum fluctuations, which means “Nothing”
is encoded with information on a vibrating grid throughout this universe.
We know that space is geometry, and that is numbers. We've also found that nothingness, the vacuum of space vibrates with quantum fluctuations from uncertainty. So “Nothing” vibrates. So now we have a vibrating grid structure of nothingness that always is, that will always vibrate from uncertainty and that is infinitely large and infinitely small, then you've pretty much got the ingredients you need for all math, which is basically just a grid structure and something that allows things to at least appear across the grid.

Big Bang Entanglement?
“It doesn't seem like the universe cares so much about fairness
as it does care that all things that can happen — do.”

If all matter, light and energy that exists in this universe burst at a single
Singularity instant into this dimension, are all subatomic particles and macro matter
entangled in a Oneness that humans seem to contradict in their wars and violence?
We all came out of that Big Bang together. Every planet, every star, this whole universe, we were all squished right next to each other, you know, at the Big Bang. Our atoms were more than hugging each other, all of us. And at that point we were all quantumly entangled.
IF ENTANGLED, WHY IS THERE SO MUCH DEATH AND VIOLENCE AND ABUSE?
Yeah. You know, I wonder. I always think of that as being kind of all things that can happen do. You know, in quantum mechanics, everything that can happen does happen. And it doesn't seem like the universe cares so much about fairness as it does care that all things that can happen — do.
CAN YOU TAKE ALL OF THIS AND MOVE THE TRACK TO THE QUESTION OF THE SOUL THAT ANIMATES THE BIOLOGICAL CONTAINERS?
I think of the soul as being like every tiny quantum movement and measurement of me from the moment I was born to the moment I die — that is me and my soul. Matter is energy. E=MC2. So matter literally is energy, and matter can become energy, and energy can become matter. They can switch back and forth forever, but they're never destroyed. That means that the matter that is me has always been and always will be. It's been light. It's been in everything.
You know, a lot of people talk about what happens after you die. But when you're dead and your energy is not in a form that can observe time, time is meaningless. So we know that this universe is 13.8 billion years old. Do you remember waiting to be born? All the matter that's you existed. You were in dinosaurs, you were in stars, but to you it was instantaneous. You've always existed. When you die, you can't observe time, so time is meaningless to you, so you don't notice that time goes by, just like you don't notice the time waiting to be born.
So to me, when you die, the next thing you know, if there's an infinite number of Big Bangs, dying is being born. The next thing you would know is you're popping into existence again in the next universe where maybe it's identical to this one, but I'm left-handed. Every single possibility happens eventually in an infinite amount of time.
SO THE SOUL COULD BE SOME SORT OF SUBSTANCE DESIGNED AND MADE SPECIFICALLY TO TAKE ALL OF THE FREQUENCIES OF A CONSCIOUS LIFE INTO IT FOR RECYCLING.
Yeah. And the universe just automatically does that.”
